Merry Christmas

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone that's visited my MySpace this year.I've made a lot of new friends and even caught up with people I went to high school with. It's certainly been a tough year for me but I'm hoping 2008 will be awesome!
I just got back from Ohio where it was snowing. It reminded me of being a kid and all the fun we had playing in the snow. I was able to see my best friend David for his surprise 40th birthday party. We had a great time! Great job Mary.
We're heading to Mississippi for the weekend to see my wife Lisa's folks. We're bringing the dogs too. We're anticipating a wonderful holiday.

I'm hoping next year is a good one for eveybody and I'm looking forward to making some more music to put on my site. Speaking of sites, I will be reconstructing bradyseals.com soon. I should have the new site up by Feb.

Take care and be safe on the roads!

The Listening Room and other news

The show at The Listening Room in Franklin went great! We really missed those that couldn't make it. The place was packed and everybody was in great spirits. Five of us gathered in a circle in the middle of the room. Two on guitar and two keyboardists. There was me, Will Champlin, Greg Friia, Jaida, and Billy Crain

We all played seven songs each. Greg Friia was kind enough to invite us all. Jaida and Billy were wonderful as always. If you haven't checked out Jaida you need to, she's a star! It's only a matter of time before she's all over the radio. Will Chaplin blew me away too. He's got an incredible voice. He's a pop rocker and I know he's going to get some big cuts in the future either on radio or in some movies. Greg's songs were touching and heart felt. He deserves big things. He was a gracious and entertaining host. Thanks Greg!
I played some Little Texas tunes like My Love, God Blessed Texas and What Might've Been. I started off my set with California King, my favorite song on Hot Apple Pie's CD. I also played a few new songs, Farmer Brown and One More Day In Heaven. I also brought up my beautiful and talented wife Lisa to do one of her songs called Metal Bumblebee. Everyone loved it!
Since Hot Apple Pie isn't going to be touring for awhile I think I'm going to start doing some more writers nights, I had a ball.
I've got some other news that I'll let everybody in on at a later date.

Hope everyone is doing well,
Brady

New Country Star Interview/HAP update

Hey Everyone,
Don't miss Brady's interview on http://www.newcountrystar.com.

This may come as a shock to some but not others, so here goes...Hot Apple Pie has decided to put things on hold for a while. We're not breaking up though!!
We're all doing some other projects right now to get our minds off the nightmare that we experienced with negotiating a record deal. We spent 6 months going back and forth with the label talking about terms, conditions, and other biz related stuff and in the end it couldn't get resolved. Now we're faced with trying to start all over or take a break and revamp at a later time.
We've also had a hard time booking gigs for the autism tour because of the holidays coming up.
So what I'm saying is HAP is still alive and together but we all need a break.
We hope you understand and hang in there with us through this ordeal. In the meantime everyone in the band will be doing some cool things separately.

Brady will continue on as an artist by writing, recording, producing, and developing other artists that he's working with.
Keith is out on the road playing bass with Luke Bryan. Got to check that out!
Trey is playing with various artists around the country.

When the time is right for HAP to reunite and tour again we will let everyone know. Thanks so much for everyone coming out to see us, supporting us, buying our records and hanging in there with us. I will continue my blogs here and on http://www.myspace.com/bradyseals to keep eveyone abreast on HAP happenings.

We feel that HAP will do something again one day God willing.
Thanks again,

~Brady

Progress

The guys and I are really ready to get back out there and see everybody again. We're all stoked about being able to help and do our part in raising awareness for autism. With every bulletin I send out we get more leads on some gigs. Please help us keep the ball rolling. In order for us to get out there to see you, we need gigs!

Thanks to everyone who's trying to help.

Back on my feet

Well,
I'm now back in Nashville. My wife and I are going to try and go see a movie today and get out of the cloud we've been in. It's going to take a while but with God's help we can do it.
Hot Apple Pie is still anticipating signing a new record deal soon. We're all doing odd and end jobs until things get going again.
My CD Thompson Street is now available on iTunes. It took me awhile to get it on there, but it's finally there. It's also available on Groove Tunes, where you can download ringtones.

May God Bless,
Brady

I wanted to let everyone know my dad passed away July 25th. The funeral was beautiful. Thanks for all of the encouraging messages. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. My dad was my best friend, best man and my hero.

God

Dad is still in critical condition. We called in Hospice several days ago. Our family has really come together to pray these last couple of weeks. We're still praying for a miracle. If anyone can do it God can.
I've had some supernatural experiences that's really changed my life. Maybe someday I'll go into detail and tell you all about them.
It's going to be hard to repay eveyone for everything that's been done for our family. I now realize that helping others is really what I want to do with my life.

Please keep us in your prayers

More Tests

Dad is supposed to undergo a few more tests today to determine why he's not waking up. We're anxiously waiting to hear what the doctors have to say. He's been having some seizures and my family is very concerned. We're all trying to stay positive and expecting God to heal him. I've discovered a lot about myself and others during this trying time. I've always been a believer in prayer but I've definitely gotten closer to God here lately.
I've even thought of writing some spiritual songs. Who knows what would come of it. I just know that I want to start getting more involved with helping other people. It's felt so good to have people here to help mom and I through this. Thanks to everyone for the prayers. Please keep us in your prayers.

Severe Pancreatitis

I've been in Ohio with my dad in ICU for the last two weeks. It's been the hardest thing I've ever gone through to see my dad in this kind of condition. He's always been a very strong man and reasonably healthy. He's now having a hard time waking up from the sedation. If anybody has any encouraging stories please send them. Keep the prayers coming.

My Dad

I wanted to let everyone know my dad is very ill with pancreatitis. Please pray for him, he needs it right now.

Hot Apple Pie

Well...you got to start somewhere, so I'm starting here. I created this blog for family, friends and fans to hear about the happenings of myself and the state of Hot Apple Pie. I've really been trying here lately to keep everyone informed about the band. I've tried update my myspace page (myspace/bradyseals) and Hot Apple Pies my space (myspace/hotapplepie). I've also added Journal notes to www.bradyseals.com. The next task is to get www.hotapplepie.net updated. The reason for the delay is that the website was created by the people at MCA. If you don't know HAP has now left MCA and talking with another label. As soon as the deal is settled I'll be able to get HAP's site back in order. I look forward to blogging with everyone out there. Bring it on!
