The Listening Room and other news

The show at The Listening Room in Franklin went great! We really missed those that couldn't make it. The place was packed and everybody was in great spirits. Five of us gathered in a circle in the middle of the room. Two on guitar and two keyboardists. There was me, Will Champlin, Greg Friia, Jaida, and Billy Crain

We all played seven songs each. Greg Friia was kind enough to invite us all. Jaida and Billy were wonderful as always. If you haven't checked out Jaida you need to, she's a star! It's only a matter of time before she's all over the radio. Will Chaplin blew me away too. He's got an incredible voice. He's a pop rocker and I know he's going to get some big cuts in the future either on radio or in some movies. Greg's songs were touching and heart felt. He deserves big things. He was a gracious and entertaining host. Thanks Greg!
I played some Little Texas tunes like My Love, God Blessed Texas and What Might've Been. I started off my set with California King, my favorite song on Hot Apple Pie's CD. I also played a few new songs, Farmer Brown and One More Day In Heaven. I also brought up my beautiful and talented wife Lisa to do one of her songs called Metal Bumblebee. Everyone loved it!
Since Hot Apple Pie isn't going to be touring for awhile I think I'm going to start doing some more writers nights, I had a ball.
I've got some other news that I'll let everybody in on at a later date.

Hope everyone is doing well,
Brady

I really hope you do more like this soon. I have more vacation time now and haven't been to Nashville in quite some time. Would love to see you again! I've never seen Lisa perform (other than tv), so that would be a treat!
